Natalie Brown
Natalie Brown graduated from Wits with a Bachelor of Commerce in 1994. She currently lives in the U.S. in Seattle and is the head of marketing at Sur La Table, an experiential retailer in the kitchenware and entertaining space that also offers culinary classes.
Prior to joining Sur La Table, Natalie managed marketing at See’s Candies, a beloved U.S. niche confectioner, helping to lead rebranding and expansion, including opening 15 new markets for the company. She also has extensive experience as an entrepreneur and consultant, including designing and operating her own fashion label, branding/marketing consulting for a startup customer experience relationship management platform, as well as driving expansion of a high-end Southern California Pilates studio.
Natalie has been a featured speaker on several marketing panels and webinars, sharing her knowledge and passion with other industry leaders as well as those beginning their careers. She also helps lead Sur La Table’s DEI Committee to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion at the company.
