Balungile Belz is CEO of Birth Order, an online pregnancy health and wellness platform. Prior to that, she managed B2B Partnerships and Member Experience at Chief, a unicorn startup focused on supporting executive women.
She has managed client relationships in the creative agency context, servicing clients such as McDonald’s, State Farm, Toyota, Butterball and the Y-USA. Balungile also led communications and supported fundraising at GlobeMed, and launched a youth-focused online civic education project, Civics Academy, during her time at the Hanns Seidel Foundation. Originally from Mbombela, Mpumalanga in South Africa, Balungile graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Arts (Hons) and Master of Arts in International Relations from Wits University She currently resides in Chicago, Illinois.
