Volunteers may assist with mailings or with address and telephone number verification. Computer skills, and familiarity with search tools will be an advantage. Patience is also an essential requirement both in the search process and in follow up telephone calls to check or establish correct identities, addresses etc. Mostly, volunteers will do best in the state in which they live where they will understand local information and telephone search methods, and face lower costs of making telephone calls.
